Hey GH-ers! I was recently interviewed by the fine folk at Fieldboom about how I grew Thinkific. From when I joined as VP of Growth in late 2015 to when I left two years later, our MRR grew over 2000%. A large part of that growth came from partner webinars. We'd connect with influencers, software companies, and other people in the space that had an audience of our ideal customer. Then we'd run a webinar to them, show them why they needed a software, and offer a bonus at the end. It worked like gangbusters. There was a point where I was doing multiple webinars in a single day, sometimes back to back! How did it all work? It's all here in this interview. Enjoy!

    Point #1: Ask your audience what influencers they follow is a really good tip. This is the way that we've found tons of distribution channels that our customers read.

      I've seen traditional advertising favored over distribution partnerships often with SaaS and it just doesn't make sense to prioritize the latter. This article is a perfect example why.
