The company was founded in January 2016 and was self-funded for the first year. At the end of 2016, the company raised $1 million in funding.

    @504matt Great post. Question:

    You said you dropped ~$30K into it and you and your cofounder were the only ones working on it initially. What did you spend the $30K on? How did you acquire your initial beta users/customers? Thanks!
