    I love the focus on not just getting new users but retaining and engaging current users.

    Also, I want to use that user state transitions graph - great way to track changes in activity.

    Great insight into what goes into growth efforts at a B2C app. I'd love to know if they use any external analytics, but I assume they'd rather trust their own numbers over other measurements.

    i love this article because it gets at the heart of what is important for growth - finding out what makes your product useful/special and clearly communicating that to your customer base as early and often as possible. its amazing how this article, written by an engineer of the growth team, did not mention much about user acquisition. he focused solely on product and retention metrics. definitely a great article.

    The retention graph here seems a lot harder to read than a normal chart based retention graph.

    I wonder if they use any other tracking tool i.e Mixpanel or they are just using the one that they have rolled out themselves?

    This is an awesome read; but, I'd like to know who is managing email marketing for Pinterest? Their appears to be no unified approach to emails we receive via our business account.

    Subjects are somewhat topical and/or looks like some "algorithmic" component. Email should be a huge part of their Sales Funnel.
