    @morgan There's some seriously creative ideas in here.

    You mentioned syndicating blog content. Did you ever have to worry about being so far behind the growth of the original article that most of the people in the vertical had already seen the original when your were promoting your syndicated version?

      Thanks @davidtuite as far as syndicating goes, Inman News has a big reach, so there's very little that could be too far ahead to be not worth doing.

      There's two parts to it:

      1) The Viral stuff: We try to focus on stuff that we see going viral within the first hour, or half-day at most and act on it. If we can't get it early, we won't do it.

      2) The good stuff: We will run this regardless because if it's good enough it will resonate and be valuable. Even if a small portion of readers have seen it elsewhere, the majority will have not, and those that do see it as a badge of honor to be syndicated. It's validation for their ideas, etc.
