Everyone knows that ecommerce consumers LOVE free shipping. But hardly anyone has published studies on where and how to mention that your site has free shipping.

We ran AB tests on different ecommerce sites where we put "Free Shipping" copy in different places (promo bar, product page, etc.) and found some interesting results:

It turns out consumers do respond differently to where you place this copy. They don't see it as often in some locations and see it more in others.
