This is the story of Sagi, a husband, a father of 2 children + dog, a martial artist, a full-time design director at a scaling startup, and the founder of multiple side projects that keep growing and scaling. In the article Sagi will share: - His story - Practical tips on how to create and scale side projects (A.K.A. how to monetize a low traffic blog) - Explain his “why’s” for doing it I hope that this story will inspire you to create you own side projects, and will be interesting to you as a story on it’s own.

Really big article - a life story of sorts - and listening to the audio version whilst you read/scan the text is very immersive. Great tips and very dense with helpful insights!

I'm a big advocate of side projects - even if they fail. They can help you develop your talents, work with talented people and change how you think about your career.

My side-projects over the past couple years have helped me establish myself in a career that I love. Developing a passion for creative and analytical work across different areas like film production, front-end development, typography, community events, etc.
