While most SEOs focus on achieving the highest rankings, sometimes the exact opposite is needed — removing URLs from Google.
For instance when you’re battling outdated/duplicate content, an indexed staging environment (whelp!), or indexed pages that contain sensitive personal data.
Whichever situation, this guide explains in detail, step-by-step how you can quickly remove the URLs from Google!

Nice guide, I have a site I'm trying to get rid of some problem pages on and now down to 5 left indexed out of 80. Come on Google, you know what you need to do!

Ah, almost there. Too bad the "Request Indexing" feature isn't available now!

Really nice guide, thanks for sharing! Always seem to have issues with actually getting outdated URLs removed but it's hard to find any info on it - will be sharing this around :)

Nice guide! I wish we could have a "bulk" way to ask Google directly to remove a list of pages.
Steven van Vessum
Yeah, like an CSV list or just a list you can manually paste in. That would be useful for sure!
