I really think having a mentor can be the difference between success and failure. I think it is especially critical when that mentor has found success in their own entrepreneurial ventures because they fully understand the stress and challenges that come with personal reliance and how to traverse the dynamic business environment. Being successful in the corporate world does have its merits, and I'm not trying to downplay the value they can add as a mentor, but for an entrepreneur, I think it is imperative that the business mentor shares the same or similar experiences to provide maximum value. This was a great article. Thank you for sharing.
