Many companies today rely on content marketing and native advertising to gain visibility for their brand — after all, 70% of people say they'd rather learn about products through content rather than through traditional advertising. But is either content marketing or native advertising a surefire way to boost brand awareness? And which one offers more bang for the buck? We answer those questions today.

Great post. " 70% of people say they’d rather learn about products through content rather than through traditional advertising." Interesting information, but it makes sense.

Excellent data driven post by Kelsey. I particularly liked the use of a table to outline the different measurement criteria. The reality is very few businesses can afford to regularly invest in native advertising.

Great post. As someone involved in content marketing in-house and that also sells authority links on the site (quasi native marketing) it was very interesting to see the amounts the agencies are charging.

Interesting point about native advertising links being treated by paid links by Google - for some reason I didn't expect that to be true.

Great post. Really enjoyed the data-driven comparison between traditional advertising vs. content marketing. It would be interesting to see the breakdown of who makes up the "70% of People".

"95 out of 100 people" just sounds very awkward. It might sound better as "19 out of 20 people" which is still 95%.

Anywho, great stuff. Will definitely be referring back to this one often.

Yes Everyone suggests Content Marketing is next big thing, implement in future marketing campaigns. Assign more budget to content marketing in next marketing campaigns. But this report differentiates with numbers, also these stats helps us in convincing to increase budget allocation to content marketing.
