Before you start applying specific tactics, you should make the effort to understand your overall growth system. Then, you can tactically deal with specific loops or metrics.

    Loved this video - Andrew's a super sharp guy.

    Touches on some interesting point re:Messenger integrations and Mobile being where social was 10 years ago.

    Should make for some exciting developments.

    The video is very helpful, I really liked this one "Growth is not a bunch of small, tactical growth hacks, but a full model and system with linked parts and loops that align with your business.

    He's great!

    I'm reading his blog in the last couple of years and the stuff he writes are so unique.

    Yes, indeed! It is a full model.
    For example, when we mapped out the activation system model for our product (Chaino), we found that there was a negative feedback loop related to notifications. Basically, people who we were successful at activating ended up getting a ton of email. This led to their annoyance, which led to them decreasing their engagement.
    The systemic look meant that we re-did our notifications system to increase activation; something that might have seemed counter-intuitive but has actually improved engagement.
