There are many factors that come into play in determining if you and your website are an authority in Google’s eyes and in the eyes of online visitors. Building authority in your niche is not an easy task. It takes time, perseverance, and determination. Many experts believe traditional SEO is now dead. The days of simply choosing a keyword, using it, and driving traffic to your site are long gone. Yes, those strategies still need to be used, but only as part of a larger, overall package of promotional efforts aimed at making your name as an author and your site recognizable to your target audience. The solution? Become an authority in your niche area.

I think it needs time to establish yourself as an authority in any niche. I agree with what stated in the post, it isn't going to happen without investing enough effort. I'm sure becoming an authority helps to build Google authority too.

Good read. That's a (very) long post. Thanks for sharing.

      Amen to that, Jason.

I started my online journey back in 2010, and I feel I still have a lot to work and learn to become an authority in my niche.
No great achievements come without hard efforts, right?

Glad you enjoyed the share. :)

Great guide! And I agree -- it's vital to do it step by step, little by little, or it might sound like a scam in the eyes of both the audience and search engines. Quality over quantity. :)

Glad to hear you enjoyed my share, Luana.
Agreed on that. I've always been a fan of quality, instead of quantity.

I've a motto that has worked for me both for personal life and business:
"Be Honest, Be Yourself, Be Real".
It looks like it's working for building authority in my niche too. :)
