There are many people in the world that want to be in your position.

They want to be where you are, doing what you are doing. …right now.

And the reason most of them are not, boils down to one thing:

Experience.

All the hours strategizing, planning and executing.

The late nights pouring over textbooks and videos.

Dealing with difficult clients.

Not to mention the failures along the way.

Sure, some people could walk the long windy road to success alone, but most would prefer a guide.

A consultant.

And this is how you can double YOUR revenue as a consultant... in 21 short days.

You mention unpaid methods a lot, if I wanted to accelerate via paid what would you recommend?

      Great question Kieran.

First, I would ensure Custom Facebook Audiences are being created at each stage of the funnel to roll ads out to mop up more people dropping of at each stage.

Then once those Audiences were large enough I would create a 1% Lookalike and then drive that fresh traffic into the optin.

Let me know how you get on!

Thanks for sharing! I'd love to see more details on how you get people to that "owned media". So often people assume if you post a good article, readers will naturally come, but of course that's only true over a *very* long time horizon.

What outreach methods have worked well in your experience driving people to that pillar content?

Thanks for the comment Nate :)

My most effective content promotion strategy recently has been...

      Both Growth Hackers & Inbound.org.

I understand these communities are relevant for specific niche's but Facebook Groups exist for most.

The strategy is simply post with clickable headlines and descriptions, choose relevant tags then reach out to your email subscribers to upvote.

Then if done correctly, you will start to trend in those categories, bringing exponentially more visitors :)

Do you have any other good content promotion strategies?

Yeah, I agree that "niche" forums/groups tend to be effective - sort of the strategy of going to where your target audience already is.

Also a big fan of doing more promotion than seems necessary - for me at least, reposting an article 2-3 times on Twitter over a couple days seems to have very little diminishing return.
