This year is off and running with some extraordinary companies starting to make a name for themselves. Rather than opting to emulate what’s on the market, here are a few companies that have stood out and could be unicorns in the future. Check out these nine companies to watch this year.

Thanks for finding us such an interesting article, Lilach.

It's great to keep abreast of the way technology is being harnessed in ways we would never have dreamed.

AirMap is reassuring LOL I'd often wondered about the thought of all these Amazon drones blundering about. Not that I've seen any yet, but still....

I'm going to recommend Woo to my son in his hunt for work that suits his work-life balance.

I hope as many companies as possible start to use Riskified for fraud prevention. I have been a victim of credit card fraud more than once and, although my company is remarkably good at spotting fraudulent transactions, changing card numbers etc is a nuisance - I'd much prefer the fraud to be stopped before it happens.

Look forward to hearing more about all these "companies to watch" :-)

Hi Lilach, wow, it is amazing how many new companies are coming about all due to the internet. It's good to hear about them as we hear more about the dying companies out there today.
I would use My Size - it seems very easy and convenient for all to use.
POC medical could revolutionalize the medical industry and really help us take better care of our health with early and easy testing.
Thanks for sharing these with us today!

Interesting article! I'm happy to learn about new Companies and what they can bring to the table for us. Like @lisapatb I like the idea of My Size and would use that myself. I also am curious about Woo, so I requested an invite. I see they are getting slammed by invitations but I can wait it out. Would love to know more about it.

Thanks for sharing these fabulous Companies with us! Ya learn something new every day!

    HI Lilach,
What an inspiring read about these companies doing so well. So many new ideas to stir about and some even in arenas I had never thought of. Woo is definitely more futuristic in my point of view.

Loving Brainly too. Thanks for the article share here.

I love the idea that technology can help people in such practical ways. My husband does most of the shopping since he works out of the home. I'm going to tell him about the MySize app so he can try it out and see if it's useful for our lives. We have 3 kids so maybe we can also input their sizes onto the app and ensure we're buying the right sizes for them too.
I like the fact that Delighted lets us try out their product by surveying 250 customers for free.
Brainly is a brilliant idea. I wish they would bring it to Brazil. It would be a great help for students here.
Riskified looks like a must-have for eCommerce stores that are suffering from fraud. Each company is serving a purpose in a niche market. Thanks for sharing @lilachbullock

    Hi Lilach,

Wow that drone airspace security need, hey, that company can really clean up on this. Every travel blogger and their brother has a drone these days. They are so cheap. So since no real rules exist - and vary from country to country - any company setting up some airspace order in an ever changing drone world has found a very pressing problem to address. Love it.

It really is exciting to see all of these new industries being created as technology advances. Who would've thought we'd have companies like Clarafai or AirMap 20 years ago?

It's amazing the possibilities that have opened up not just to large corporations but small businesses too. You never know what new product or service will be available so I think it's important to stay up to date on these types of things, so I always love reading articles like this one.
