Erik, there sure are many obstacles for small businesses today. Glad you gave us some great tips to help ease a few. I didn't realize Storyboost exists and I love doing stories on social. Happy Fox is another I had not heard of and having been giving though to use chatbots on the website. Thank you so much!

It's a shame we have to be so concerned about cyber attacks and security. As you said, it's an issue for small business owners as well as the larger ones. Anything that helps raise awareness and offers solutions is immensely appreciated.

At beginning of this year, my server got attacked and some of my sites hacked (they infected them with a malware).
I tried to clean everything up for two whole weeks, but the malware was there, again and again.
At the end, I had to move all my sites to a brand new server, with a new hosting service.
Glad I knew a friend who is technically prepared and did all this for me.
      It was a nightmare! 😱😱😱😱

    Good Afternoon Eric!
Geez these days there are so many challenges for business owners HUH? And what is with these hackers? I just don't get it and was surprised to hear that these so many of these small businesses that fall victim to security breaches go out of business within six months. That is just terrible, but thankfully there are solutions available to help keep these hackers at bay! I also liked the other solutions available, especially the apps and other tools that were mentioned in this post. Good to have something that will help with those frustrating growing pains..
    Great Share.

    Cybersecurity is always a worry!

Fortunately, there are a lot of tools out there that can help out business owners, in each of the key points mentioned.

One thing that people can do to improve their online presence as a THOUGHT LEADER is to write a book about their company that demonstrates their expertise and showcases their products. Wording Well can help business owners with that because Wording Well helps others become authors. (Anyone can become an author these days and sell a book on Amazon!)

Thanks for the great share, Erik. These are fabulous tips for small businesses!

    Hey Erik!

Having a data breach can be really harmful to a business. Look at Facebook. Also, customers need faster responses than ever before. There are many so many options that customers can switch whenever they want.
Wanting engaging content on social media is obvious.
Thanks for sharing this with us.

    Hi Eric,
It's certainly tough to be a small business owner today, but those are really helpful tips to make us aware of the problems, and tools to lighten our load.
I too fell prey to hackers - several years ago - and it was so bad that I had to move my hacked sites elsewhere to seal the leak. I was really lucky though, because my new hosting company fixed the hacking as part of the on-boarding process. They said they'd never seen a site so badly hacked.

Glad you got your sorted out too.

    Hi Erik,
This is indeed a timely share, online security is an important thing to look carefully in small business.
I too can relate a similar incident you underwent, sometime back my site too passed through such a malware attack and with the help of a friend I could fix it by totally shifting from a so-called reputed hosting platform.
Thanks for sharing these amazing digital tools to overcome common business obstacles.
    I appreciate your time.
    Keep sharing.
    Best
    ~ Phil
