Hey Erik, thanks for sharing the great piece of content for the community. Getting the readers converted into the sales/leads is definitely an art. Efforts should be invested through the content and design. Personalization is one of the key factors to make them take action. I love the statement "Traffic is the Queen and Conversion is the King" I totally agree :-)

The mentioned resources are awesome. In fact, I unaware of many tools. I'll make use of them. Focussing the mobile fit is also an essential part to be focused for the massive conversion. And, doing the spilt tests always work in understanding the audience. Sam has done his best part, hats-off to his great efforts.

    Awesome.
I've definitely left websites, even during a transaction if things became too complicated and tedious. Simplicity and yes, fun are important. Always cool to personalize the experience.
Great share. Thanks for putting this together - and in such detail. Very helpful.

Defining user interests and preferences to give them a personalized and better experience. As a customer, I want to feel "special"!

Thanks Dana! I couldn't count the amount of times I've exited mid-transaction ... If businesses aren't analyzing this (which many don't, due to nothing changing!!) they are losing out on a lot of revenue, while risking bad WoM.

Personalization is the key to an enjoyable experience!

Cheers for reading & commenting here,

I remember the sales technique courses, when I was working in the banking field. They talked about the influence of colors in Psychology and Marketing. I remember how they said red is a potent color for humans and animals alike and how it can affect persuasion and sales.

Wow, I loved how Sam explained and showed us how to use personalization. I've read about it before but didn't understand how to achieve it until I saw his examples and how not to get too creep at the same time!
I've started to do it on my site with my photo more up front and center but I could do it more and use the chatbots as well. Sam really got me thinking with this one Erik. Thanks for the great share!

"If you’re not making the most of your current visitors, don’t bother spending money or time acquiring more." ---> I would think that this is so obvious that it would not even have to be said!

I agree that content should be personalized, too, because when people feel connected to someone, they are more likely to buy from you!

    Nice share, Erik. :)

Many, MANY websites lack conversion optimization, my friend ... All while focusing on SEO etc. I believe a lot of it is due to lack of understanding of CRO and what it entails / how deep it goes. Testing is the only way to achieve an optimized site, and this takes ongoing time + money to do right; content online surrounding HOW TO GAIN TRAFFIC, far outweighs the amount of content on HOW TO CONVERT TRAFFIC. Crazy, really!!!

      Thanks for reading, Lorraine!

Nothing comes overnight, most of all when talking about building a successful business (both offline or online). It takes hard work and dedication. And when it starts to pay off, it's time to work on it even harder.

I particularly liked Booster #4: Offer Conversational Engagement. I think most businesses are missing the human touch in customer relationships, nowadays.
