Being adamant about creating habits over time has always served me well. Be mindful of your morning ritual and it'll become natural over time.

Morning Rituals! Absolutely agree - Meditation, Movement (this could be a workout, yoga, or a few stretches), Ginger and Lemon Tea, and the same breakfast (yoghurt, chia, gojis, honey, raspberries and strawberries all in a bowl). This routine developed unconsciously for me over the last 6 months and now I see a massive difference in what I get done that day, as well as my mood - should I not have the routine.

Great points! I would like to add one simple thing I do when I'm running on a deadline.
    Turn off mobile notifications.
I look around and notice that mobile notifications are a big distraction. Be it Whatsapp messages or Twitter notifications, they can wait if you need to get something done ASAP.
Simple rule - Someone who really need your help will call rather than message.

Thanks Varun! Absolutely agree, although I sometimes feel conflicted. My meditation and yoga sessions are done through mobile apps :) I also agree with the call/message comment. I have 2 sections of the day that I check emails and notifications - everything else is go time.
