    That's nuts how much more effective it is than Twitter and Facebook. Completely expected but it just goes to show you 1,000 engaged email leads is worth 40,000 followers???!

      "Even if you like my Facebook fan page, my updates will rarely reach more than 10% of you. So I reluctantly decided to re-examine email. In a world where people change email addresses less often than physical addresses, it just made sense.”

    I think Josh Pigford's advice though simple was really sage for us. It's scary to carve up niches at first but it does really work.
