I enjoyed this. That image of the giant yellow dryer in the middle of the busy street certainly caught my attention. I can see why that pull people in and make them want to see what it's all about.

Thanks for putting this together. Very useful info.

Even just writing this piece, I will always remember *every* single example included...

Doesn't that (alone) demonstrate the power? :-O

It's just important to get the planning right, so none of it backfires on your brand! 🦍🍌🦍

      [That would be bananas.]

    Hi Erik,

That's a really interesting article - I'd never heard of Guerilla Marketing before, but Sam made it obvious and entertaining.

I think my favourite was the Mars Bar truck (trust me!!) but the Blair Witch campaign was amazing. What a fantastic ROI.

I'm not known for my creativity, but Sam has certainly inspired me to put my thinking cap on.

    Great share!

It's a topic very close to my heart — LOVE the rebellious nature of guerrilla techniques.

Imagine making as much money as the Blair Witch producers, in such a short space of time / low level of budget!

I bet they were on cloud 9. Absolutely insane success!!!

A heck of a lot can be taken from them, and all the other examples...

      Truly amazing stuff all around!

Thanks so much for reading — I'm so glad it's inspired you. :)))

Guerrilla marketing is an interesting concept. I sure liked the images you provided in the post, especially the Snickers truck and the broccoli tree!

I have not personally seen any type of advertising in my city that uses this style. But I will keep my eye out for it now.

Thanks for your feedback on the selection of imagery — I had a lot to sift through, and wanted to highlight only the best (& most memorable) campaigns over the years.

Keep an eye out. Ambient or stealth guerrilla tactics could be in front of you each day, if you look close enough! :D

    Hi Erik,

Guerrilla Marketing is a totally new concept people may have rarely heard of. It's all about making an impact people can't forget. The more innovative someone can be, the more exposure they get to their campaign.
Being affordable, Guerrilla Marketing can turn out to be something people would like to try.
    Thanks for sharing with us.

That's exactly what attracts me to it most, Ravi! :))

It really is accessible to ANY business. Even those who believe it wouldn't be suitable — There's always time / room to change brand perceptions and evolve into something better.

There's just something so likeable about brands that 'go guerrilla' (the right way).

      Cheers!

    Hi Erik,

Thanks for sharing Sam's content with the community! It is a great read about Guerrilla Marketing. Last year, I met my blogging friend at my state and he told that he came over here to attend the premium session about Guerrilla Marketing and now, he established a brand name for his blog and rocking in the industry.

Now, I understand the power of this marketing strategy. Sam has explained the things in a detailed manner and I understood the benefits of learning the Guerrilla marketing. Thanks for the comprehensive content, wondering about the images you have added in your article, they are just amazing.

Hi Sam, LOVED IT! It actually gave me an idea. It reminds me of using stories on FB and Instagram. People love seeing things differently there and if you know your customers pain points you could incorporate something with that. Something they know they need. Thank you so much for this one Sam.

I can't express my love for Guerrilla Marketing enough...

It's original, it's inspiring, and it's damn impressive when done right!

Which example did you enjoy most? 🤯

The Blair Witch campaign was simply insane. 4133x ROI?

Try beating that with 'normal' Digital Marketing, hehehe...

    Glad you liked the piece!
