    Great post. I think it has some valid points and would have loved to see it go into more details. For example - "look for tools that will help you better segment customers so that the CTAs you choose to present to customers will help, not hinder lead generation" - which tools? example?

    Cool post.

    I like the emphasis of the focus on social.

    I bounce back and forth between the camps of getting most/all traffic from google (like clambr.com) and getting most/all traffic from social (like growthtext.com).

    I'd like to get more traffic to my blog through organic search since that traffic seems sticky and you can better target commercial intent. But it seems like you almost need the social proof first to get people to share (and backlink) to your content.
