    These e-mail course lead magnets are really effective. I sign up for most of them even though I already know I am being put in a funnel.

    That's how you know it is good marketing tactic:-)

      Agreed. There was an Ask GH a bit ago asking "what do you actually hand your email address over for?" and I have to say that email courses have better odds than almost anything else for me. A lot more work and value goes into them, plus they're served in bite-sized, linear chunks.

      I've actually only signed up for one (Noah Kagan's). For me, it's a combination of the authority of the publisher, the authority of the authors and the variety of the content.

    Am I missing something?

    People say thank you for valuable insights. But all I see is a landing page asking for my email in exchange for a free a email-course. And the course hasnt even started yet, so who is to say that the course will be good.

    Regardless, I did actually learn that offering a free email course with bullet points of the classes and some pictures of the teachers seems to work better than I thought on collecting emails. I signed up at least :)
