Website forms still work.

Yes, despite what you've heard, they're not dead or dying.

However, in many cases, they deliver a pretty crappy UX, mostly because marketers are lazy. The accompanying copy is boring and/or misleading, too many unnecessary fields, the design...the list goes on.
