Haven't heard of most of them... Lots of search engines to play with!

I've heard of most of them, but not all. My favorite shopping comparison site TheFind.com got bought out by Facebook and they took it down. Maybe one of these will help replace it. ShopWiki was closest, but TheFind made it so easy to find small businesses selling the exact product I wanted.

That's what I was thinking when I saw the list. Amazon, eBay and Etsy are what I think of.

Same here. This increases the number of channels local retailers can use for their online shops.

I wish I'd had this research when I managed AdWords accounts for eCommerce stores. Interesting insights like "28% of Bing shoppers are more likely to spend $500+ on electronics or women's clothing. I'm glad they have NewEgg on there. I shop there instead of Amazon. Never heard of some of these.

Back in the day, getting listed in the comparison engines was a bit of a chore (and expensive in some cases). Having lots of venues evens the playing field, makes the process less onerous, and brings down the cost for smaller retailers.

    Excellent resource to have!
