    Couldn't agree more with point #1 - registration emails are a must! These people have just decided they like your brand enough to sign up for an email list, connect with them!

    Great roundup of tips! Why do you think businesses don't invest in these types of transactional emails? Do you think it has something to do with whether marketing/growth teams get involved in them or not?

      Thanks Janet! That's a good theory with the marketing teams not participating. I just think retailers assume that these emails should be purely information based and that being too promotional may put the customer off. Whereas customers would appreciate the like minded products and you can reap the benefits of the open rate!
