    Hi Natalia,

During covid-19, we had to quickly adapt and increase collaboration of different teams and change work dynamics.

    Two questions:
    1. What tools do you suggest to generate remote teams sessions?
    2. What practices do you recommend to keep all the people updated, without having calls and sending tons of emails?

    Thanks!

      Hi, Marivi,

Thank you for sending this question.

      1. Definitely I invite you to know more about Cisco Webex Meetings. Not only because this is the platform I work for but is the only one to offer you an integrated, complete and secure experience to manage and generate remote teams sessions internally and externally.
      2. I personally hate emails. If you want to have a crystal clear communication process with your team, I suggest you start asking them what they prefer, I would suppose that short videos as the format and a very clean messaging tool - and again not doing merchandising but Cisco Webex Teams helps me a lot to save time and work really engaged with all my team! :)

      Hi, Liu,
Thank you for sending this question.

I am not an expert to talk about Women's health but I would suggest that you can start creating your personal brand as an influencer for this audience building relevant content, videos tips and proving how your method works as this market is very personal. And an extra tip is using Instagram as a main social channel - I have seen good engagement there for every business.

      Hi, Andrus,

Thank you for sending this question.

I have already implemented several tools for marketing automation and one of the biggest concerns was always about integrations. For example, if you have an e-mail journey you should have data about “open rates, clicks and mainly who is engaging or not” available for your sales team - so they can work on a qualification or spend more time in other activity. This is a real challenge for every marketing & sales team and my advise here is to have transparent processes and not only integrated tools but integrated teams (Smarketing or sales & marketing should work in every company).

    Question from Travis Caldwell (@travcaldwell)

What has a better ROI for a B2B PR strategy, a local agency, or using an 'à la carte' platform?

      Hi,Travis,
Thank you for sending this question.

I would say it depends on your product or service. PR strategy is always a good strategy since we can have the message on the main mass media but if you can't continue telling your story using other platforms you can lose your prospect very fast - consider we are all living in a omnichannel world and we need to be where our audience is.

Given all of the online collaboration tools out there today, is it still important to work with a local agency? If I like someone better who is remote should location even be a factor?

      Hi,
Thank you for sending this question.
I really love to work with remote teams and use the knowledge I can from each one, so location is not a factor. This is the magic, with remote teams you can work globally taking advantage of different cultures and ideas but I would say that local agencies are most important when talking about social media community management - this is a key point for every brand today and must have a native speaker to interact with the audience.

    Hi Nathália,

I personally am a big fan of looking for the north star metric and having that shared goal and company mission in place. Is that something you embrace at CISCO and if so, how do you make an entire company get behind it?

And second, how do you organize growth teams, decision making, and responsibility so that you're able to move fast and be agile as a large enterprise company?

    Thanks!

Time tracking and project management tools like Orangescrum helps the remote teams to stay focused and on top of their work.
