María Virtudes Briz, also known as ‘Marivi’, is currently a Head of Product Development in Telefónica. Since Marivi joined Telefónica, 9 years ago, she has been working in challenging environments such as Guatemala, Madrid, London, São Paulo and Santiago Chile.
During those years, she has been changing areas and job roles, but the common factor is that she has been able to understand and translate customer needs into digital solutions using different methodologies: Design Thinking, Design Sprint, Agile, Lean Startup.
Her main responsibilities include the definition of a global roadmap, product development strategy, and delivery of Entertainment (Video, Games, and Music) Solutions available in 8 countries, +10 devices, with more than 6MM users and revenues of +1B€.
She is considered an “intrapreneur”, with high energy and a wide management experience, leading large multidisciplinary teams (including Engineering, Quality Assurance, Software Development, and User Experience).
